Henkel Donation

We have some incredible news to share!

Recently Henkel (you might know them from their products such as Persil, ‘all, Puree and Snuggle) reached out to us wanting to know how they could help during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Throughout the last couple of months, we have seen an increase in laundry needs throughout the homeless community during a time when good hygiene is critical in keeping our neighbors safe and healthy. 

Through Henkel’s Global Solidarity Program, Serve NWA’s Laundry Love programs received 10 pallets of detergent and $10,000 to help provide clean laundry throughout NWA. For perspective, that’s years worth of detergent, over 1,450 loads of laundry we’ll be able to provide clients with, and over 2,000 people that we will be able to serve throughout our three locations in 2020.

The impact of this one donation will be felt deep and wide within our community. We are incredibly grateful for Henkel’s support in helping us provide relief and remembering that during times that feel a little uncertain, we’re all in this together. 

Laundry Love is currently operating with alternate plans to ensure the safety of our volunteers and clients. We cannot wait to be back in the laundromat with our friends, but until then we will continue to serve them by providing a meal and baggie of supplies for them to use during times when the laundromat is at low capacity. 

We are continuing to meet new families during the pandemic who are utilizing Laundry Love’s services for the first time. Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to serve the increase in people attending each month, so thank you! Thank you for supporting our programs, even if right now it has to be from a distance! Your support is being felt deeply throughout Fayetteville, Springdale, and Rogers, and we could not make this type of impact without YOU!
